Have you heard of Edun? Edun is the clothing company of Bono (U2’s front-man) and Ali Hewson. The couple co-founded the store in 2005 with the mission to support and promote sustainable trade while offering the market stylish clothing. Their materials are sourced from Africa and they have launched exclusive campaigns to gather funds to provide clean water, food, clothing, supplies, and healthcare services for the African people.
Edun along with WS and Invisible Children helped organized The Conservation Cotton Initiative (CCI) to build sustainable farming communities and ensure the fair trade of their cotton.
Today, the company is a part of the LVMH, with Paris-based designer Sharon Wauchob launching their latest collection for Fall 2011 and Spring 2011. Hop over at Refinery29 and get the chance to purchase any item you like at half the price.
